2019 MIPS Targeted Review Deadline – October 5th, 2020
If you participated in the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) in 2019, you MIPS final score is available for review on the QPP website. This final score determines the payment adjustment you will receive in 2021, with a payment adjustment being applied to the Medicare paid amount for covered professional services furnished by a MIPS eligible clinician in 2021.
MIPS eligible clinicians may request CMS to review the calculation of their 2020 MIPS payment adjustment factor(s) through a process called targeted review. The deadline to submit your request is October 5, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. (CST). Login to the QPP website to submit a targeted review before the deadline.
For more information, download the 2019 MIPS Targeted Review User Guide and FAQs.
2020 MIPS Hardship Exemption Application Deadline – December 31st, 2020
CMS announced relief for clinicians participating in the QPP/MIPS program in 2020. MIPS eligible clinicians significantly impacted by the 2019 Coronavirus (COVID-19) may submit an Extreme & Uncontrollable Circumstances Application through December 31, to have any or all MIPS performance categories reweighted.
IMPORTANT: Data submitted for any of the 2020 performance categories will override an approved application on a category-by-category basis.
QPP eCQM Scoring Issue Reported

CMS published updated measures to correct the issue.
