Montgomery, AL – MedConnect, Inc. continues to integrate its newest results interface with leading Alabama healthcare institutions. The interface into MediSYS’ EHR, MedConnect v2.3 has now been adopted by two hospital systems in Birmingham, Alabama: St. Vincent’s Hospital and Brookwood Hospital.
Providing transmission of laboratory, radiology and other transcribed documents in real time, the interface to MediSYS’ electronic health record (EHR) product suite streamlines processes. Healthcare workers can now eliminate manual paperwork while achieving faster turnaround times for patient lab/radiology results, which can be automatically configured for routing and review by the healthcare provider.
The interface was designed to integrate seamlessly into the MedConnect EHR v2.3 2014 Edition, an ASP model EHR system certified by the ONC-ACB.
Jimmy Chapman, President/CEO of MedConnect, Inc., said, “We’re proud to be able to assist two of Birmingham’s largest hospital systems as they care for their patients. Together with Brookwood and St. Vincent’s, we’re at the forefront of a revolutionary new way to provide the most accurate, timely, and connected services possible.”
