After the implementation of the Surgery-Related Claims Filing Updates, BCBS of AL identified modifications needed in the programming to correct reimbursement amounts for scenarios involving bilateral procedures and/or multiple surgeries. BCBS of AL identified impacted claims and are being reprocessed with the corrected allowances as soon as possible. Do not file a correction on any of the claims that paid incorrectly.
