COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Extended through January 11, 2023

Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) once again renewed the public health emergency (PHE) for COVID-19. BCBS of AL Update: Some Surgery Claims Being Reprocessed

After the implementation of the Surgery-Related Claims Filing Updates, BCBS of AL identified modifications needed in the programming to correct reimbursement amounts for scenarios involving bilateral procedures and/or multiple surgeries.
