According to an article from Palmetto GBA published to their website on February 6th, 2019, CMS has found an error in payment adjustment for the 2019 Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS). The error incorrectly applies Part B drug payments and other non-physician services billed by physicians. If you have received an over payment due to this error, you will receive a recoupment notification from your Medicare Administrative Contractor.
