AL Medicaid Enhanced “Bump” Rates Deadline
For dates of service on or after October 1, 2016, Alabama Medicaid will resume enhanced payments for the Primary Care Enhanced Rates “Bump” Program. In order to receive this rate retroactive to October 1, 2016, eligible providers must have a self-attestation form on file at HPE by October 31, 2016.
If providers do not have a self-attestation on file starting November 1, 2016, then they will receive the enhanced payment rate beginning the date that the self-attestation is in the HPE system.
IMPORTANT: You will need to have your NPI # and Individual Medicaid ID # when completing the self-attestation. Also, make sure you initial by the sections on the self-attestation that apply to you or that you will complete.
