Winborne Macphail, CEO of Birmingham-based SCA Health, was included in Becker’s list of 20 ASC leaders to know in 2026. After more than a decade with the company, she became CEO in 2025, previously serving as COO and president. SCA Health operates more than 370 ambulatory surgery centers and specialty practices across 37 states. Her priorities include expanding the use of robotics and AI and moving higher-acuity procedures into outpatient surgery centers.
