Tips on how to maximize efficiency within the Advancing Care Information (ACI) (formerly Meaningful Use) category for 2017 MIPS reporting
- Earn a bonus score worth 15% of your advancing care information final score:
- Earn 5% bonus for reporting on one or more of the following Public Health and Clinical Data Registry Reporting measures:
- Syndromic Surveillance Reporting
- Specialized Registry Reporting
- Earn a 10% bonus for using CEHRT to report certain Improvement Activities
(SEE BELOW)
- Earn 5% bonus for reporting on one or more of the following Public Health and Clinical Data Registry Reporting measures:
- Monitor your EHR reports for measures and improvement activities and make sure you are staying on track or determine which areas you need to fix
- Choose measures within each category that overlap with other categories and can earn you bonus points in other MIPS categories
